Vision

A sustainable and humane world with compassion at its heart

Mission

Safe World for Women is a worldwide movement advocating women's rights and inspiring new worldviews.

  • Our purpose is to promote justice and dignity for women.
  • We bring together women from all cultures & backgrounds, to pool our skills, resources, time and commitment, and we collaborate with others who share our vision and ethos.
  • By listening to women who suffer from oppression and injustice, throughout the world, we ensure that 'the voices of the silent' are heard by those who can influence change.
  • Together, we work to protect women's rights worldwide so that every woman can enjoy all the rights enshrined in the international treaties to protect women.
  • Independent from government, corporate or national interests, we investigate and expose abuse of women and children, educate and mobilize the public, and campaign to improve policy and attitudes.
  • We do all this to enrich the lives of women and children, socially and economically.

A Safe World for Women is a safe world for all.

Ethos

  • To maintain the utmost respect for all human life and for the natural environment.
  • To practice honesty, integrity and trustworthiness.
  • To conduct business with love, gratitude, empathy and awareness.
  • To communicate sensitively, honestly and compassionately.
  • To emphasise cooperation in preference to competition.
  • To carry out business and enterprise in a sustainable way.
  • Not to permit considerations of age, disease or disability, creed, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, race, sexual orientation, social standing or any other factor to affect attitude towards any person.
